This new TV from Bose has a couple of interesting innovations: 

• Surround-sound speakers built into the TV. This presumably works something like a soundbar. The reviewer is very enthusiastic, though I'd be curious to hear how they perform in different size rooms, and how easy they are to calibrate.
• A universal-remote that uses the TV screen as a display, rather than a separate LCD screen on the remote. This is clever, though I think I'd still prefer to use my smartphone.
